About Me

Dana Faulkner is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. She graduated from Penn State with a BS in Nutrition and completed her Dietetic Internship from Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. She has over 15 years of Clinical Experience in Medical Nutrition Therapy and Diabetes Education. Her Nutrition Counseling focuses on Weight Management, Diabetes, Heart Health, Osteoporosis and GI Conditions. She also has a strong knowledge of insulin pump therapy and the use of continuous glucose monitoring systems. She is a current member of the following: American Dietetics Association, American Association of Diabetes Educators, Greater Pittsburgh Diabetes Club and Western Pennsylvania Local Networking Group of Diabetes Educators.
