We are thrilled to share some exciting news about the future of Heyl Family Practice. Early in 2026, we will open our third office location in Gibsonia, expanding our reach and creating new opportunities to care for patients north of the city. The physicians, Dr. Louis Heyl, Dr. Donald Shoenthal, Dr. Scott Heyl, Dr. Matthew Macken and Dr. Brian Nolen, are excited about this growth and are looking forward to seeing patients at the Gibsonia office in addition to our two other locations.
This new location will offer the same trusted, personalized care you expect from our team at Heyl Family Practice. By adding this third location, we’ll be able to offer greater appointment availability, including same-day visits, while continuing to make it easier for patients who live or work further north to get the care they need, when they need it. Whether you visit us in West View, McCandless, or (in the new year) Gibsonia, you’ll have seamless access to your medical records, coordinated care across locations, and the same commitment to making every visit as easy and comfortable as possible.
As part of this exciting addition, Shelley Miller, CRNP - a familiar and trusted provider to many - will be transitioning from our McCandless office to the new Gibsonia location. Shelley is looking forward to welcoming both new and existing patients to this new office.
To ensure our McCandless patients continue to have exceptional care, we’re equally excited to share that Nathaniel Smith, PA-C will be moving into a full-time role at McCandless. Many of you already know Nathaniel from his work with our team across our locations, and this change means you’ll see even more of him. He is extremely excited to bring his compassionate, thorough approach to care to more patients each day.
We’re confident these updates will only enhance your experience as a Heyl Family Practice patient. You’ll continue to have full access to your preferred provider and location, along with even more options for scheduling and convenience.
